Textile cleaning methods
and products have changed dramatically over the years and continue to improve. With more awareness on the residual aspects
of detergents and spotters left behind from the cleaning process, plus their overall performance. We have shelves of products
that claim to be more effective than their competitors. Staying with the larger companies that we know have lab tested
their products, and have a large client base to get feedback from, we often try them only to shelve many of these
(new and improved) products, and return to our favorites. But there have been many instances where we have been impressed
with the new results and have switched. Old school won't work here, we must have an open mind to new cleaning techniques and
products, everyday.
Another important note on our
cleaning products. EVERY APPLICATION IS DIFFERENT, the type of material, the source of the soiling, traffic patterns all are
important factors that must be taken into account when accessing a job. It may easier to just clean every carpet with a high
PH detergent that cleans fast and appears to the customer to be a (good) job. A high traffic restaurant may require this but
not that 100 dollar a yard STANTON* carpet.
We will provide our customers
with a free spotter that is safe for your application and will refill it anytime. Over the counter spotters are broad based,
they claim to clean all spots from coffee to urine. We are all too often called out to fix a problem that was made worse from
poor advice, or inappropriate cleaners, often these become permanent stains or discolored, when the proper methods are not
used. Always remember to rinse and blot out any spotter or spill as soon as possible. If you encounter a problem that our
spotter can’t reduce, please feel free to call us a.s.a.p. we will offer
you our best advice on what to do.
Our IICRC certification and
training has improved our ability to identify all fibers and use the proper cleaning solutions on them. DON’T trust
your investment to just any cleaner, ask questions, ask for referrals, and most of all use a certified firm.
